Powerful Supplement Improves Wound Healing
Powerful Supplement Improves Wound Healing, Relieves Digestive Problems, and Fights Cancer and Heart Disease
When you cut yourself, does it heal up slower than it did when you were a child? Do bruises stick around a lot longer than they used to? Do you suffer from digestive problems, such as ulcers? Do you have cancer, heart disease, or any other serious illness? Or do you suffer from asthma or allergies?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I have exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Believe it or not, there’s a pill that can help you treat any of these problems — and many more. This silver bullet isn’t a specific vitamin or mineral. It’s not a hormone or drug. It is, in fact, a food. It’s what I call a super-food. And you can buy it in a bottle, pop a few of the pills, and physically feel how effective it is.
How can I be so sure? I take it frequently. This super-food is one of the most powerful pills you will ever take. It’s also one of the healthiest. Most people think it tastes great. And it will probably change your life.
This super-food is chlorella. If you’ve heard of chlorella, you probably know how wonderful it is as a healer. But chlorella has come a long way in recent years.
If you haven’t heard about chlorella, it’s a blue-green algae. I’ve told you in the past about Seanol, the amazing healing nutrient that also comes from algae. Algae are responsible for up to 90% of the photosynthesis on the planet. That means its cells are crammed with nutrition. Chlorella has a higher percentage of chlorophyll than any known plant source.
Chlorophyll is an amazing detoxing substance. It can kill bacteria and make something foul smell fresh, including improving your breath and fecal odors. But there’s more. New evidence suggests chlorella can detox mercury, which is extremely difficult to remove from your body.
Scientists from Japan found that it accelerates the excretion of mercury from mice. The researchers divided eight-week-old mice into three different groups. Then they gave the mice 5 mg/kg of methylmercury or 5 mg/kg of methylmercury plus 100 mg of chlorella powder. The third group served as the control. The researchers then measured how fast the animals excreted the mercury.
After 24 hours, the mice in the group that ate chlorella excreted significantly more mercury than those that didn’t eat the chlorella. So the next time you eat fish, just eat a few chlorella pills and they will dramatically reduce the amount of mercury that gets into your bloodstream.
Speaking of blood, part of chlorella’s healing ability comes from the fact that it closely resembles our own hemoglobin. The main difference is the minerals they carry. Hemoglobin carries iron, so it’s red. Chlorophyll carries magnesium, so it’s green.
But it carries a lot more than just magnesium. Chlorella is a stunning 58.4% protein. It’s a complete protein with all the essential amino acids! Gram for gram it has more than twice the total protein of beef.
And all of its protein is available for assimilation, unlike cooked beef. It also has 23.2% carbohydrates, 9.3% fats, 0.3% fiber, and 4.2% minerals. Its fats are loaded with essential fatty-acids. Its mineral content includes abundant iron, calcium, and phosphorus. It carries a mere 411 calories per 100 grams. And it’s a great source of vitamin B12, which is rare in plants.
Chlorella also is packed with other nutrients — virtually all that are needed for life. So, if your diet is not the best, it’s easy to fill in holes with this super-food. And it’s better than many of the grocery store supplements on the market that have synthetic components. All its nutrients are food based with all the cofactors (the small micronutrients you won’t find in your average supermarket supplements). In fact, chlorella has the highest known food concentration of nucleic acids. You may remember these from junior high science. They are the stuff that makes up your DNA and RNA. As you age, your body’s ability to synthesize nucleic acids declines. Your body can absorb them directly, sparing your cells the time and energy it would cost for synthesis. That helps your cells create new healthy ones much faster. It also helps damaged tissues heal faster. Researchers believe this is due to a mysterious chlorella “growth factor” (CGF). We’re still trying to figure out what this factor is. CGF is likely a combination of these nucleic acids and other key vitamins and minerals the chlorella uses to grow so fast.
Clinical proof of its health benefits is in the studies. There are literally thousands of reports on chlorella, mostly written in Asia. It’s one of the most scientifically researched foods in history.
I don’t have room here to detail all of the science behind chlorella, but let me quickly give you an idea of what this research shows. If you are Internet savvy, you can do a Google search for the science of chlorella. You will find many of the studies proving that it can help the following:
•Chlorella significantly improves fibromyalgia pain.
•It can heal stomach ulcers.
•It improves asthma and allergies.
•It protects animals from a lethal dose of an injected virus.
•It dramatically helps immune deficient mice eliminate lethal bacteria.
•It protects animals from nuclear radiation.
•It lowers cholesterol and triglycerides.
•It improves insulin and glucose metabolism.
•It helps normalize high blood pressure in animals and humans.
•It can improve rheumatism and joint pains.
Chlorella also fights cancer. It dramatically improves animal immune defense against cancer. And it protects against chemotherapy toxicity without weakening the drug’s effectiveness.
Chlorella even prevents skin cancer in animals when applied topically to cancer-causing inflicted lesions. Just skin application alone regenerated the detoxing mechanisms of both the skin and liver, especially glutathione metabolism. That’s amazing. Just imagine what oral use might do for your liver with the direct line it has from your gut.
More recently, researchers have found that it can enhance your immune system and prevent cancer. Lab studies discovered that chlorella extracts modulate chemicals called cytokines in immune cells. These are the small proteins cells use to talk with one another and stimulate an immune defense against most anything.
Furthermore, chlorella inhibits the enzymes matrix metalloproteinase and human protein tyrosine phosphatase activity. The latter helps to initiate cancer. The former is an enzyme cancer cells use to invade and destroy surrounding tissues.
But that’s not all. Postmenopausal women might get a big lift from another recent study. In this study, researchers removed the ovaries of rats. Then they gave the rats a chlorella extract. After seven weeks, the extract reduced the rise in both serum total cholesterols and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterols caused by oophorectomy. It also normalized the decrease of triglyceride levels in the animals. So it could improve the lipid metabolism in older folks who have lost or lowered sex hormones.
And, finally, another recent study could have huge implications for diabetics. In this study, researchers gave rats a chemical that makes them diabetic. They fed the rats chlorella for 11 weeks. At the end of the experiment, the rats had no significant change in their glucose levels. However, chlorella decreased the blood-glycated hemoglobin (hemoglobin A1c) and serum cholesterol levels significantly. That’s rather important since glycated hemoglobin is a measure of the damage caused by high blood sugar.
So if you have high blood sugar, you might be able to mitigate some of its damage with chlorella, even if it doesn’t improve your glucose level.
Even better, chlorella prevented peroxidation of serum lipids in the diabetic animals. Cholesterol is not your enemy. It’s what your body does with it (peroxidation) that is the problem. That’s the main factor in what leads cholesterol and lipids to become dangerous. If you are worried about high cholesterol, chlorella might offer protection against its dangerous peroxidation. And, as an additional bonus, chlorella slowed the development of cataracts in the experimental animals. Cataracts are common in humans and a well-known complication of diabetes.
Now that you know the miracles contained within chlorella, I hope you’ll understand why it can do so much for you. It’s an extremely powerful detoxifier, perhaps the most nutritious food on the planet, and a potent immune and circulatory system protector.
I’ve used chlorella for about 20 years. I keep a ready supply at home for my family for daily use and in case of a disaster (it’s a great survival food). I regularly tell my patients to take it. And the results have been fantastic. I’ve seen terrific results in kids with ADD, autism, and in adults with any toxic, immune, circulatory, or degenerative problem.
It’s a frequent part of my daily routine. I don’t consider it a supplement, but a super-food. I use a dose of 15 at bedtime. It can work its way through your gut to detoxify your body. Its growth factors will be available during sleep when your body is actively repairing. And sometimes Terri will add the green pills to our morning fruit smoothie. It turns the drink an etheric green.
You can buy chlorella over the Internet and in many health food stores, but I don’t recommend it. That’s because of two problems with chlorella.
The first problem with chlorella was posed to researchers. For a long time, they couldn’t figure out how to make its juicy nutrition-rich interior available for digestion. Being a plant, it has a thick cell wall that we humans can’t digest well. But they eventually overcame this problem. Their secret is in a process that cracks the cell wall without destroying the interior contents. The inner contents are then available for absorption and the cell wall is available to your body for gut detox.
And, second, researchers must be extremely careful with the algae. Chlorella binds toxic metals so avidly that it can pick up metal ions in the lab. So they must grow the algae and manufacture the product in exceptionally clean conditions. Otherwise, the product will have heavy metal contamination.
It’s for these reasons that I’ve used only a few brands. My favorite now is a chlorella grown under rigid German conditions. The German scientists who run this lab pay strict attention to detail. They have a fine chlorella product that I trust more than any other that’s available. But you don’t have to go to Germany to get it. You can order it from Advanced Bionutritionals by calling 800-728-2288.
I recommend you take 15 tablets at bedtime. If you enjoy the taste, as I do, chew them. But I know some people don’t like the taste or texture. So you can also swallow them with water. The tablets are quite small. I’ve always said that the three basic causes of disease are malnutrition, toxins, and stress (not an absence of petrochemical pharmaceuticals). While chlorella won’t rid you of stress, its powerful effects could have an impact on just about any disease. And by supporting your body nutritionally, you’ll even be able to withstand stress easier.
